As a proud daughter, granddaughter and niece of soldiers this will always be my favorite song of all time and we will always appreciate what they did for us and note my family were in South African army RIP to my great great grandfather (he was also in army but I didn't know him that much)

I'm a Marine vet, daughter of a 2 Vietnam tour retired Marine dad, sister of a retired Marine brother, , sister of a Marine vet sister and proud mother of a Marine vet son who served 2 tours in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan. All military ballads give me goose bumps.
