Thank you so much for these well explained videos! Honestly a maths legend!!
Quick question: if you have defined p at the beginning, do you still need to reiterate it when writing up the conclusion?

Is there any situation where by you’d have to look at both tails, and therefore how would you do this?

Hi Sir, as this was a 2-tailed test, would you not have to consider both tails? In that case, why did you only consider P(X<=2) and not P(X>=2)?

for edexcel, if i used the calculator to find out probability instead of binomial cumulative table but got to the right answer would I get all the marks?

Hi sir, may I ask why is the p-value computed in Rstudio different from what you have.

binom.test(5, 40, p=0.15, alternative = "two.sided")

produces a p-value of 0.8258

I really need help with a question I'm given a mean of 3.20kg but the person expects it to be 3.30kg

I'm just wondering if I use 3.20kg or 3.30kg cuz the question says provide significantly evidence to prove that person is NOT right
I wanna know what my null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis

Hi Sir, I was wondering for the first sentence we write “let p be...” is for defining the random variable right? So for this question is to define x instead of p which is already given ? Thank you

Sir I have a question but why don’t we look at the upper tail?

What would you do if the number of successes observed = the expected number?

How do you know whether to do a two tail test

help please, i dont understand why you do p(x equal to or less than 2), its really confusing. is it because 2 is smaller than 5(%) or smaller than 40(n)

Sir is there any situation where the significance level isn't halved in a two tail test.

why is it there P(X<=2)=0.046>0.025?
