Man, I wish that teachers in language classes taught in a way where you're "forced" to become conversational in a short period of time. Usually I find that in most language classes that's not the norm at all, which causes people to go a very long period of time before being able to communicate.

With these guys, I felt like the tutors' focus was almost entirely on getting them to be able to speak, even if it was just a little bit. This causes them to be able to communicate within such a short time frame.

It'd be awesome if there were more teachers out there who took a leaf from this video :/

In 10 minutes and 51 seconds, I learned that "and" in Romanian is pronounced "shi."

WOW! As a native Portuguese speaker (and polyglot, too!), I'm surprised to realize I understand a LOT of Romanian - which I've never had contact with before! Anyways, they are all AMAZING, both the tutors and "students"! And...please give me that Romanian tutor any day, my my!

As a fellow romanian I can tell you they did a great job in only an hour. They have a few mistakes here and there and their accent is sometimes off, but I can understand what they're saying and they are pretty close to the real deal.

This is so cool, I loved it! Obviously, not everyone can in one hour do as well as they did, basically because these people are professional language learners!! They already know a bunch of romance languages and they also know how to approach a new one, so I didn't expect less from them, I knew this was gonna be a huge success!!

Every single thing that they've said about our language and its influences and how it looks and sounds so similar to .. kind of all the languages they know, is just completely true.
I always say that... If you know Latin, basic words in Turkish, basic words in Russian and Slavonic and the Slavic language used in the Church, some Italian, some Portuguese, some French and some German or some Hungarian, you can basically understand anything because the form of the word is not that different.
I've always been really passionate and even though I've never got enough knowledge as a true polyglot, I can sincerely say that I've studied most of the grammar structures and I always look for the Romanian words and see what their origin is and it's really impressive.
Amazing job, amazing team and I really wanna see at least one of those amazing people that just "absorb" languages speak mine, the Romanian language.

Mult succes și sper ca in viitor să faceți mai multe videoclipuri legate de România și limba română pentru că avem nevoie de oameni ca voi să arate și celorlalte popoare cât de impresionantă este țara noastră.

As a native Romanian I can say they were really receptive and quickly understood how this language works. I'm really fond of my country and language, and seeing other nations show interest in them is heart-warming!♥️

Oh I'm so proud of them and so happy they liked Romanian! I'm a native Romanian, living in Portugal, so I speak Romanian and Portuguese; besides that, I speak English and Spanish, know a bit of French and understand Italian. I'm currently trying to learn Korean by myself! I've been loving this channel so much! Keep up the awesome work :)
