This is the final video in this three part series. This is the last thing we need to do before going on a test drive and bedding the brakes, which I covered in part one.

Here is the Motive Power Bleeder I am using:

Unfortunately, the cool trucker pee bottle is sold separately:

Here are the rear rotors I installed:

Here are the rear hoses I installed:

Here is the fluid I am using:

Here are the carrier bracket bolts I replaced:

Here are the front rotors I installed:

This is the best bleeding/flushing video I have ever seen. I did this for the first time in my wife’s car last year and had questions mid way I found myself search for, you answer them all in this.

Always remove as much old fluid as possible from the master cylinder reservoir before adding clean fluid. Makes the flush much faster.

How much fluid did you require to complete the flush? Great video, thank you!

I subscribed. I can't believe how awesome ALL of your videos are. Keep them coming!

Sorry. I noticed I made a mistake when I said I was “starting with the front right”. I was at the front left, actually. I clarified this soon after, but thought I’d throw a comment in here.

where do you get your manual? im guessing thats not the regular owners manual because it doesnt have that detail like what side to start on or pressure needed

Where did you find the bleed order? I assume it'll be the same order for a mk7.5 GTI but I'd rather see it in print. 🤔

There are 2 VCDS BASIC SETTINGS in regard to this procedure.
1. Brake bleed
2. Fill/bleed brake system
Are those irrelevant ?

Oh boy, my experience with that motive bleeder has been hell.
First it was leaking at the gauge. Had to figure out how to create a tight seal since tightening it more did nothing and it nearly sheered the back nut.
Then once I fixed that leak, it held consistent pressure. Once I put the fluid in and pumped it up to 30 psi, not 2 min into checking if all is good, it busts the line off the cap and it's spraying brake fluid all over everything. Had to get some hose clamps and wash the car on jack stands immediately to hopefully mitigate any damage to my paint..
Finally got it done. But it was a multi parts store and large cleanup endeavor.

dam you just saved me so much money thank you man!

Great video Sir! But 30 psi sounds a bit high? I note your instruction manual says 2 bar, but worry this might cause master cylinder to blow?? I always thought you should not exceed 15 - 20 psi???
Any more thoughts on this?

Have you thought about doing the brembo macan caliper upgrade. I know it's not a true BBK, but you can get 2 piece Rotors and the macan calipers are inexpensive

Since this works through a pressurized system, is it necessary to keep the car level? I was considering just removing one wheel at a time and using one jack stand.

Super vids on braking. Quick question. On the Ferodo info page it states that street
driving may cause certain vehicle platforms to squeal. Have you experienced this?
Thanks so much.

After a lot of research, the mk7 GTI / Golf R require the 30psi to flush the ABS system... there is no VAGCOM/OBELEVEN procedure required.... that was for older mk6 I believe. You will see some procedures referencing using a coder to get the ABS system to cycle itself. MK7 just forces the fluid through the system with a higher pressure.

Great video. Where would I find the directions for a mk7.5 gti? For what brake to start at and finish at.

Where did you find in what order the different calipers need to be bleeded?

Hello, with what pressure need to bleed?any ideea the values from the manual?

Can anyone please confirm to use 10 PSI or 30 PSI. I am doing a bleed tomorrow and replaced pads and rotors. Not lines. Is 30 PSI still necessary? Thanks!

Hey my man, where did you find the repair manual? I keep trying to find a proper copy of one but I can’t seem to locate a legit VAG repair manual for my car. I have a 2019 GTI se usdm
