MY TVR IS BACK!

Driving my TVR for the first time in a long while. I managed to get my TVR ready for the weekend of the Goodwood Revival, where TVR were launching the new Griffith. So the day before I took my TVR 350i to a retro car meeting at Hurtwood Park.
Now I'm debating whether to sell it or not. Contact me with serious offers.

Adam, please do not sell the TVR! these are great video's which I am sure bring more traffic to your channel? With the new Griff coming out, more people will be looking for TVR videos and hopefully coming to your channel. Also, its the wrong time of year to sell-April is when you need to do it. I know you have had problems with it (so have I with previous cars) but it got you through Europe and back, just keep it running and you will fall back in love with it-especially on a sunny day! Also, they are going up in value...

Coils typically have a bit of life in them before they die completely. I said to myself when you mentioned "distributor" that it must be the coil. Points for me then!

In all seriousness Adam, it would have been better if you had looked at the ignition system as a 'chain' of parts, and worked your way from the end (spark plugs) back...
At least you know for next time ;)

my TVR Chim has failed me twice - bad ignition amp and bad coil - in 23 years.... so unreliable

A new coil is not so bad Adam, don't sell your TVR unless your looking to buy another! I think about selling sometimes but it doesn't happen...I just go and spend more money on it :) It's all part of the TVR experience.

If you loose motivation and lack love for a classic car when it gives you grief you should not be driving classic cars mate lol they are a life style and will nearly ALWAYS give you some sort of issue and need fettling, its rarely get in and drive when ever you feel like it. Its more like 1 weekend drive 1 weekend fix something lol

Still tarring all/most TVRs with the same brush I see 0:34 . Don't take your lack of mechanical sense out on the brand. If you're not handy with the spanners, or can't afford to pay a mechanic, sell it. Simple. Stop whining like a girl.
