I'm Driving my TVR 2,000 miles to Monaco and back!

A little announcement. I will be (attempting to) drive my TVR 350i to Monaco for Top Marques 2017 in April. The aim is to get back home as well!

Just service and check all before hand, swap the obvious out with new..HT leads etc.., and take useful spares. Plenty of people have done similar.. She will sound sweet in the tunnel.

It will be nice for the many carspotters of Monaco to spot your TVR, because it's very rare. Only 6 spots exist in Autogespot.

Good luck! make sure you get it serviced before you go ... plenty of help on the TVR forums as I'm sure you know... I'd bet you have a misfire so check all the HT (loose leads was my problem), coil, distributor side etc but I'm no expert!

Should be fine, before we got out 350i it wen't to Italy and back without issue

Good luck with the trip, did that journey four up plus luggage in a ropey at best 2000 Ford Puma it was awesome still!

i will bet its the fuel filter needs changing are fuel pump on its way out which would explain why it seems to have fixed its self could be a sing its ready for going. but hopefully not i would change the fuel filter before you go just to make sure it cost nothing really and may save you breaking down

"Come on Adam" have some faith in it.. I'm on my 3rd TVR and I'm still waiting for these totally unreliable cars that people love to joke about to be correct :) Makes me wonder why I have a recovery service on my policy as I've never needed it(It's going to happen now I've said that) :). Have a great trip and I will enjoy watching your updates. Have to say I'm a little envious of your road trip (In a very good way) Thumbs up..
