I like how you show the basic approach to masking to get people started. It's far more tedious to maintain and follow the masking process when using just video...frame by frame changes is a slow process, but fruitful if the project requires it.

I shot a scene for a short film and upon looking at the footage, one of the lights we used is reflected on a glass in the background, there is also an object in another shot in the background that I would like to remove. is there a way to cover or deal with that sort of problem in Sony Vegas 13?

It's photo, you can just remove the bakground with using photoshop!
Your way is more harder than the photoshop. right?

Great set of videos Alex on Sony Vegas. Is there a way to change the background on a video that we make? So for example, have the Eiffel tower or any background of my choosing behind the video that i am making. Essentially I will be making the video by sitting in my office talking, but i would like to change the backgrounds as I am talking from my office background to another background.
