Hi I am wondering if you can help, great video btw subbed you.

I am trying to find a way to make a trail light sort of effect in sony vegas. For example, in one of our Fifa videos, we want to create a trail after the ball on a shot at goal? The best example is the boosts in the game called Rocket League, do you know any way to create such a thing? They would only be 1-3 seconds long too. I've looked everywhere but cant find any help
