I did a compression test you can see in " How to do a compression test"
120 cylinder number 4
119 cylinder number 3
77 cylinder number 2
90 cylinder number 1
so i have put the can of restore for 4 cylinder motors in the car now im driving it around they did not specify how many miles to drive it , so ill drive it for 200 miles and will retest and show results from the test and we will see if restore really restores or it is just a waste of money !!

I've been using Restore for 20 years. It works great in my vehicles.

I'm a real skeptic on almost everything. But I have to say the Restorer product works very well on my 120K mile Triumph TR6. I plan to use this on each oil change as it truly stops oil consumption and brings back life to the engine. As for the Restorer purchase, however ; I'm buying the 8 cyl. volume can rather than the required 6 cyl.can. There isn't much difference in price between the two, that allows an eventual savings if I measure correctly.

Thanks for this great video. Here are some Mazda RX7 RX8 Hot Start Cures:
1) once flooded put your accelerator pedal to the floor before you crank so that you get the maximum airflow through the engine to dry out the combustion chamber (just like a 2stroke). In future to stop the engine, run the engine up to 4000rpm then take your foot off the accelerator to shut off the petrol, and when the rpm comes down to 1500rpm turn off the ignition key. This turns off the fuel supply and dries out the engine for easy restart. Perform the latest ecu software update which also stops over fuelling when cold or hot.
2) drop by your local scrappy and install the biggest second hand (read £20) battery that will fit in your battery tray (Ford Transit Van battery etc)
3) Mazda have a bigger starter option (£350) that will spin a flooded engine at the required minimum 200rpm (just like a 2stroke)
4) Hot Start Cure: google "Mazda RX8 Ametech Engine Restorer" and just shake up and add a 400mls Ametech additive to the existing oil (under £30) and top up with Mazda mineral oil and drive normally. Hot start compression problem CURED within 300 miles or a week of normal driving. Lasts many years and adds £1000s to the value of the car. The tiny copper silver lead particles in the Ametech quickly fills in the rotational scratches in the double eliptical cylinder walls improving compression.

For what its worth, put it in my half million mile e7 mack engined Magnum. Two months before MOT. The emissions at test dropped from the year before. Good stuff.

I have the same exact can and it clearly specified to drive 500 miles for full results.

Do a video after driving it 500 miles or so to see how long the increased compression lasts. Maybe check it at every 100 miles. I think that data compared to the immediate results would be interesting.

If you pour it in the spark plug hole I guarantee it will raise the compression.

So where are the results.? or do I have to sift through 1159 videos to try to find it.?

The question I've always had with that, Does it take up a quart or oil or does it blend in enough that it doesnt matter as long as you only use one can.

**This product is not available in Canada so I used ( what I think is ) the equivalent, WYNN's Engine Tune Up**
My Mazda 3 w/180K km was going through oil like cold beers on payday, after 3 treatments oil consumption has been reduced to controllable levels, I will continue to use this for the remaining time this vehicle has on the road. Thanks for the heads up Cody, I was a few emotions away from setting my car on fire!

I owne a diesel-engined car that had done 125, 000 milks, and was getting sluggish and less powerful. than I wanted. I did a complete engine flush, added a top synthetic oil with a can of Wynns oil additive. After about 500 miles I now have a far more powerful engine, quieter, and with a more active turbo. I might do the same to my classic Jag 'E' type now I'm convinced.

I would not call these products "snake oil" or a "miracle oil" they are indeed a "Remedy Oil". When the symptom of loss of compression exists for what-ever reason most likely scratches on the cylinder walls from wear and tear. Adding any product that fills in those scratches without harming anything else is much less intensive than boring out the cylinders and replacing the rings. Rebuilding the engine at the first sign of wear is not economical or practical as using these products.
The questionable use of these products is to use them to sell the car and represent the engine as having no issues as the issue still exists, and only been "Remedied" as the wear and tear is still there just not causing the symptoms. Those symptoms will return, working well and working as good as new are two differant conditions.
Buyers need to beware the well running high mileage vehicles do not mean they will continue to run well in-defiantly. At some point a complete rebuild will be required these products allow that decision to be postponed but not eliminated. So the only way to sell a vehicle that a product like this has been used is to disclose it was used and when.

I don't know why some people say that any additive is snake oil if they didn't test them. I agree with you Cody.
