Hey Matt! Thanks for the video, it really helps explain how to pick apart an area during the winter. One thing I would suggest trying is going to a craft store, picking up some thin metal wire (I usually go black or silver), and carry that around in your tackle box. This way if you get into a situation where your jerkbait starts floating more than it should, you can wrap the wire around the hook. This adds a little weight to the jerkbait and with some fine tuning to conditions can make any floating jerbait suspend better. Keep it up!

Matt, 60K, I think you should be at 160K, I am not sure why. I love your video’s, they are special .My all time faves are Flip Pallot and Jose Wejebe, they kept it simple, made it about the hunt and the fight. You introducing the connection knot you used was great. The Alberto and other connection knots may not be popular in the Bass based community. Nice lesson. Keep carrying on the tradition of the masters - Thank you.

You already took my suggestion! Musky fishing at Burke Lake! I had two surprise follows bank fishing there last week (probably ~36"). The bait that got the attention? Live Target Bait Ball (mini Alabama rig). Both of them followed it all the way to shore and then commenced a 10-second staredown. It was amazing. Never been so excited about not catching a fish! This was on the point between the dam and launch cove. I hope you hook one!

You should do some tidal bass fishing for the winter as the rivers don’t usually freeze over completely and a lot of us including myself have many tidal rivers around

Ah the old LCWA I’ve been there a few times. I had moderate luck with a nedrig there but me and my buddy have yet to catch many if anything on moving baits there ... SUPER clear water. Congrats on 60k! Hope to run across you soon. The more ponds you hit the higher the likelihood:-).
