I too have an Abu Garcia Black max3 on an Abu Garcia Vendetta rod and for an 80 dollar rod and a 50 dollar reel it is a really good set up for cheap! Mind you it isn't close to my metanium obviously but still love it!

man yesterday at lake conroe it was getting late so we started fishing by the marina and i landed a 7 to 8lbs bass on my cabelas lemon lime 1 to 2 ft diving crank bait with 12 lbs stren fc line, got it to the boat and my boy said "dont muscle it" cuz we dont use nets, i tried to pull it up on to the boat being lazy and the fish broke off with my bait! i Cried, hell im still crying! just sad on my part! great video!

Brian what's your favorite lure for pond bass? Mines always been a wacky rigged worm or a mepps inline spinner. Always produces.

What color Zara puppy spook would you recommend for a pond with just bluegill and bass? What soft plastics(baits in general) would you recommend? What color for soft plastics would you recommend?

The pond I know is dirty and shallow. They also never restock bass too often because one year they over stocked it :(
