Im glad we're starting to see the jump packs for Primaris, because it means theres going to be a new line of primaris jump pack lieutenants coming along and we havent had a lieutenant in a very long time.

I am actually very excited for Warhammer The Old World. I have started a 90s Skaven army allready that i am going to play when it comes out. 90s skaven just hit different!

Dude, Warhammer Fantasy Battle was one of the best games GW ever did! Can't wait for the old world stuff, AoS may float some peoples boat, but it doesn't fill my need for a GW fantasy game and I'm sure others feel the same!

I'm excited for old world in the hopes they rerelease the old necrosphinx because the model is soooo pretty!

The Old World is the only thing I'm genuinely excited for. Hope they do it well

I look forward for Old world more than anything, allways loved the models and lore but never had time or money for models back in the day for it.

The final box of Kill Team will be Leagues vs Vespids using the old bug on the windshield models, because we are never getting new Vespid models.

Regarding The Old World, given how much GW love anniversaries (WFB is 40 this year), they probably had it planned to be out this year for the big Fall release, but Covid and the global shipping delays put paid to that.

The Dante reveal was supposed to happen next week at adepticon, but the idiot robots in the warehouse put a wrench by sending the new model out instead of the resin one.

As for the 10th edition tease, given then adepticon social media tease where the big nid symbol is on the western edge of the Galaxy. It can only be 10th edition

I am excited for Old World! I got into AOS during COVID, so I look forward to the retro experience. I also really love the models and designs that they have teased.

Old world in 2025 sounds great, 10 years later. I think they will find the perfect spot for it so that it doesn’t cannibalize the AoS sales

I’m so freaking pumped for Old World. 40k fantasy don’t do it for me. I want ranked units smashing into each other! I’m actually saving money now so that when it’s released I can go full degenerate and buy an entire army. I’m trying to save 50 or so per month so I should have 500 or more by the time it comes out.

SUPER PUMPED FOR OLD WORLD! Used to play fantasy because of the rank and flank style. Never started AoS, I have 40k for round base game. When old world comes out, I will be a player.

Old World is rumoured for release late this year, if not then next, The Old World is the only reason i'm sticking in the hobby right now, its going to be set during the Empire Civil war, the rise of Asavar Kul (just before the setting of Mordheim).

From Gw's perspective, once they released Total War Warhammer and Vermintide they had a mass increase in attention on a setting they no longer produced, AoS's popularity on the table top hasn't transferred over to a comparable IP popularity outside the hobby. Just by maintaining Old World they can keep selling the more popular setting (outside of the hobby) to game developers etc... and make money from both the IP sales and the model sales - it kind of makes sense. - I know AoS people get upset at this, but at the end of the day Warhammer Fantasy is now more widely known thanks to total war and vermintide than AoS.

This doesn't mean that Gw will cancel AoS, it's doing well for itself in the competitive scene.

I’m looking forward to Old World, at least as a painting project. I miss my tomb kings! Although Reaper Bones 5 has some ancient Egypt stuff so that might satisfy my itch.

Very excited about the old world. The news in 2019 that they were brining warhammer fantasy back is what brought me back to this hobby since I stopped in 2010

Also, fairly sure those are Ultramarine terminators (white helms) and the red tint is just from the eyes of the tyranid.

Warhammer Old World will wake up the legions of old wizards who used to play, I still see them today at my LGS playing the 9th Age

The old world is 100% motivated by Total War: Warhammer.

It's practically a license to print money. I'd be all over it buying all the High Elf units I can no longer buy.

The reason to bring it back quickly is because the game should never have gone away in the first place. The game only floundered because GW barely released any models for it, and didn't seem to want to keep giving players access to the relatively cheap, relatively simple, many model plastic boxes which people used as the 'base' of their armies.

Total War Warhammer is just hit after hit in terms of getting the lore and story in front of people, and I'm sure that many game stores have LOTS of people coming in looking to buy models and start playing their armies. Only for them to have to say, "Err, we don't have high elves, we have Deepkin" and so on.

If GW has any sense, Old World comes out next year, likely to massive success considering their new SLIGHTLY more reasonable miniature pack prices and better plastic models. I'd buy a box, just to reward GW for doing something sensible!
