Hey Wildkard, I'm a Scot and have studied Pool B's schedule. Ireland does not play South Africa and Scotland one week apart. There is a two week gap from the SA game to the Scotland game. In that time, Scotland would play both Tonga and Romania before facing Ireland who had chilled for two weeks.

Great podcast Wildkard! I love the humour too. We Saffas wouldn't mind if you didn't choose Boks but any doubts we had over them, re kicking etc with Manie Libbok have been sorted so its just a question of horses for courses. The French would have been favourites except with their injury issues ie Ntamack, their backup players are just not as good! Rassie has been working on creating massive depth in all positions and he has by and large succeeded. The ABs have no plan B at this stage for me otherwise they would also be in the mix. The Irish have peaked too early for me and will pay the price. Aussies are gearing for the next RWC based on Eddy Jones's squad selections. Watch out for the Pacific Nations, I think they will shine too! Scotland are the DARK horse who are capable of a 1 game upset in the pool games. After that its anyone's game on the day! Bokke to retain their RWC crown! Cheers mate!

I think you underestimate Ireland. No denying Sexton makes a big impact, but there's a lot of depth in the team. Also, they play the Boks on 23 Sept, and Scotland on 7th Oct, so they have a weekend off between them. I think Ireland should come at least second, if not win the group. But I like that people keep writing Ireland off.
