Here you can see my trying out the local food of Mea Sherarim:

Here you can see my trip to the Ultra Orthodox City Of Bnei Brak:

I recommend to people who want to visit Mea Sheraim to wear modest clothing - dress / skirt or scarf (around the pants) and shirt with sleeves. You can see in the video that a few residents shouted ""Shikse"" from the balconies at my tour group, and throwed water bags and eggs at us, but percent of the people there didn't. Mea Shearim is probably one of the most beautiful cities in Israel, and it is one of my favorite cities in the world.

So much is on the horizon...

"I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked.... Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.
Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle.
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south."
(-From Zechariah chapter 14 in the Bible)

And a very relevant poem...

Oh Little Town of Bethlehem
You're not Israel's at all
Jerusalem -where Jesus hung
Oh hear the terrorist's call
We own you too
We own you!
And one day soon you'll see
Your god is dead
He is dead!
We'll stop his prophecies!

Yet He came to Bethlehem
As Micah (5:2) prophesied
Isaiah (ch.53) foretold
Why he'd come
-To offer up His life
Ezekiel (ch 36, 37, 38) clearly told us
When he will come again-
Zechariah (12) wrote,
"When Jerusalem
is a cup of trembling."

Look! Far north of Bethlehem!
They're gathering all around!
Watch Damascus
Very soon
It will come crashing down! (Isaiah 17:1)
But not far from the Golan
-Where the armies will arrive
Is a place called Armageddon
God waits...
Just as prophesied...

(Study these prophecies. All were written prior to 500 B.C.(E.) -centuries before Jesus was born! But first, pray, and ask for wisdom, understanding, and discernment.)
Like the fictional lion of CS Lewis -Aslan, Jesus is fierce, yet gentle. He is the true Lion of the tribe of Judah.
"Come to me, all who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am gentle and humble in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls."
- Jesus
From Matthew 11:28, 29

I think some of this is not Meah Shearim. I saw that the group passed by the minyan factory in Zichron Moshe. But I loved watching it.

FELICDADES HERMOSO SUS VIDEOS YA TE ESTOY SIGIENDO, PERO QUIERO PREGUNTAR ALGO, LOS TURISTAS QUE SALEN EN EL VIDEO SON DE RELIGION JUDIA PERO NO SON HEBREOS VERDAD

First of all, thank you for this video. As a European, I notice one thing in particular, it's just a observation and curiosity. Everything looks so provisional. There is little emphasis on aesthetic living. The power lines and water pipes run across the house facades. The air conditioning units are arbitrarily mounted somewhere where there is just space. The houses look just functional, anything but aesthetic buildings. Everything looks so chaotic and there is also a lot of garbage on the streets. What is the reason for that? Does religion play such an important role in people's lives that they do not value the things mentioned above? Is this possibly due to the lack of space? I'm just asking out of curiosity. I myself have a few Jewish roots, so I would like to understand the way people think. Thanks in advance.

Is it unsafe to travel alone with a camera through Mea Shearim? Thank you, we enjoy your videos.
