Police are on alert for further protests by Insulate Britain, who shut down the M25 three times in five days with the eco protesters also shutting down the M11 and M3 on Friday. The Home Secretary Priti Patel has said the police need to get tough and must take 'decisive action' to remove the protesters immediately. Should Police be tougher on 'Insulate Britain' protesters?

And something else that's even worse. . . They're making it MORE difficult for all of us who care deeply about this planet we all have to share -- and the non-human animals who have no voice -- because these road-blockers are turning more and more people AGAINST working to preserve the environment. 🤦🏾‍♀️😢🤬

Because of my family heritage, I've been environmentally aware for as far back as I can remember. We've always done our very best to preserve and protect this beautiful planet. I'm an adult who never even got a driver's license; I've always gotten around by:

1. Walking

2. Subways, buses, trains

3. Skateboarding (I couldn't afford a bike so that's why I chose a skateboard)

4. Carpooling with a group of friends

Lots of people are out here doing everything we can to help preserve and protect our planet. . . and to share information with people who haven't researched much about why it's so important; but who can become interested in environmentalism when they learn more about it.

Then along come these arrogant road-blockers, who do the exact opposite of educating people, who are pissing people off and making them LESS receptive to joining with us in caring for the Earth. 💔

Almost sometimes I wonder if they're moles from Big Oil. . . making the general public increase pissed off at environmentalism. . . (No, I don't really believe that, but that's how counterproductive their roadblock tactics are.)

If you're in the middle of the road blocking traffic the police are in the right to arrest you yes you're allow to protest but it doesn't give you a free past to break the law And Rich wasn't playing with that woman mad respect to him

If the right-wing anti-environment politicians in power in the UK and worldwide would simply act and make the transformative massive changes needed--better yet if they were all replaced by leftist pro-environment leaders--the protest might not be necessary. I totally support all peaceful progressive protests and tactics by Just Stop Oil, Extinction Rebellion, and Fridays For Future et al--we need much more people to step forward.
