Very insightful to me. I would have said that pub/sub has all the benefits over ptp. But it is not true as you clearly demonstrate

Say that +for now+ you only have one subscriber, and you don't know if you'll have more. Would you use a simple queue and switch later to a Topic or would you use a topic from the beginning, "just in case"?

If so, what are the consequences of that choice?
