Audi RS3 8Y Review - Understeer begone!

In the past Imran has been pretty vocal about how he feels about Audi's, and their strong tendency to understeer when pushed. This meant even when highly tuned the RS3 8V was never a car he grabbed the keys to for a fun drive.

With the new 8Y RS3 Audi have supposedly taken a big step forward when it comes to the handling characteristics, but they always say this with a new model and so far they never really hit the mark.

Have they finally achieved it? Imran jumps behind the wheel and hits the local B roads to find out.

It’s always refreshing to hear a true fan and owner of another brand give a nod of acknowledgement to a brand’s model line he is impressed with…there is a lot of talented engineers across the spectrum…if am not mistaken the chassis developer and Tuner at Audi also originally also came from BMW…but that was quite a little whiles back and he might have moved on…but I do know that he had been commissioned address how the car drove and handled…good for Audi….for allowing this car to come to market….competition is never a bad thing…Great video Imran..as always

Don't forget to fit a fire suppression system! Definitely don't want a repeat of the last RS3.... Can't wait to see where this new car's development ends up

Nice colour and nice to see one without all black trim, if a keeper send it up as got PPF kits ready to go for this car.

Is this a base model with RS exhaust???? A dash board image would be nice so I can see the interior elements finish.
Drives very well and almost sounds okay.

I would love to see a coupe version of this car. But I have a feeling it won't be coming to my country due to emissions

Was on the waitlist for the new RS3 and g80 m3 xdrive. Cancelled my deposit with Audi… hopefully I made the right choice. I’m jealous of the RS3’s dual-clutch gearbox.
