Good video, your recommendation makes sense. I have passed SC-900 and I am currently working on SC-300. SC-400 seems like it could be really challenging with everything surrounding data protection, compliance, records management and so on.

I am currently intensively working on Linux and Networking skills and will do the hands-on Linux LFCS certification next month.
My goal is Cloud Engineering/ Cloud Security.
I plan to go against the "market share hype" and focus on MS Azure and GCP instead of AWS(which is probably totally overflooded with people who "are AWS certified").

@John and @Anyone who DOES cloud/cloud security:
Any Opinion on what to start with, Azure or GCP?

"Start with what your company uses" does not apply, as I moved countries and did a Degree here as up to now I couldn't find work with my former SAP consultant/IT project manager background.

Awesome, nicely explained. 1 doubt, on your website I found "Az500 with simulation" and "Azure security admin with simulation" why are these 2 different courses? Same is the case with "MS 365 security admin".

Dear John, what would you say if (sorta coming from sysadmin) one takes an AZ-104 -> AZ-500 route and the progress further into security from there?

Would it be more beneficial to go deeper into the Azure module weeds with the admin cert(/course) before switching over to the security side of things instead of doing the high-level beginner SC900?

(I have done AZ-900 with your course almost a year ago and unfortunately not touched azure since then..)

Im looking yo become a Cloud Security Analyst but realize i may need to accept more entry level roels since i only have AZ900, SC900 and AZ104.
My question is which would be the better route to follow the AZ500 or SC200.
I really enjoy workimg with Azure but not sure between AZ500 or SC200.
