To be fair, the American 406mm 50cal was actually pretty nuts ballistically. So much so that the USA didn't feel a need to mount 457 mm guns on their warships. Very few ships afloat could survive a direct hit from a full broadside.

After seeing this performance, I wish this version of the USS Maine was in Legends. I like its overall design. The elongated hull of the Iowa, with the number of turrets of the Montana, the same 16-inch/50cal Mark 7 gun of both ships while having 1 extra barrel for each turret. Both the Iowa (with the enclosed bridge) and the Montana are my most favorite looking battleships.
