Rocky IV Teaser Trailer (Remastered)

I converted my Gremlins VHS to DVD and cropped the Rocky IV teaser trailer and added a few adjustments. Blacks appear darker and color is much more clear. Sound is a bit better and the theme is heard clearer.

I used to be terrified of Drago and it was largely due to this teaser trailer. That music when Drago enters the screen is ominous as hell. This guy literally looked like a killer.

Drago looks terrifying here when he enters and looks damn near twice Rocky's size. This would've been a great trailer to tease right up until around the release date. The fact that the ORIGINAL trailer spoils Apollo's death makes no sense to me.

I remember watching this very teaser trailer back in '85 in Theaters litterally ONE Year Ahead of the full movie theatrical release....And It got me HYPED UP Like There was NO Tormorrow...Especially knowing "Gonna Fight Now" theme was never used in the actual movie itself...This whole 1mn + thingy is an absolute MASTERPIECE in itself....GENIUS !

one of the first movies i ever saw in theaters at age 3! i became a fan of Rocky since seeing the first 3 on TV in 86 and all.

My second favorite sequel after 3!

I wonder if that's the speech he auditioned with where the other guys read it like a Russian Clubber Lang and he read it quieter and more intimidating giving him the part.
