This car isn’t expensive if you consider the 6500 tax credit. Right? Also the amount you save on fuel. I believe there is 500 yearly credit for ev charging as well.

42k is still around the same as rav4 prime. If Santa Fe and Tucson phev are more available than rav4 then it will do well.

I live in california. Do we get tax credit by buying one of this cars? I was told if I lease they take off the tax credit off price right away but if I buy then I will just pay regular price on car and they will give me the tax credit but not an actual check though. Sorry if iam confusing on my question.

the canadian goverment will give you $2, 500 for PHEV vehicles and $5, 000 for electric so that's what I would do but yeah the Tucson hybrid is a better value.
