I Built a Minimal Developer Portfolio Using React + Tailwind + Vite

At long last, I have built my own developer portfolio website. Not just the GitHub profile page from last video. Or the Terminal Website from earlier this year. But a custom website with an intuitive, minimal design that gives a prospective client a quick look at me and my work as a developer, because I want them to shower me with money so I’ll build something similar for them.
Okay, okay. This isn't my actual developer portfolio, but one I built in order to teach y'all how to build it yourselves.

The tools I used for this project include:
Vite - Build tool for the boilerplate and structure
JavaScript - Programming language
React - JavaScript library for building user interfaces
Tailwind - CSS framework
Hostinger - Web hosting platform
GitHub - Version control & CI/CD via Hostinger integration

This video is not to go into full detail on every aspect of the development of this project, but more of an entertaining showcase to give you inspiration and an overall idea of how something like this is built. Next video will be the tutorial on how you can build this exact website, with these tools, yourself. So subscribe if that’s of interest to you.

I've been wanting to build my own portfolio website for a while now, but I've been putting it off. Seeing how you built yours so quickly gave me a willpower boost!! Thx dude!

5:29 who says its more complex, i always want to do stuff that way - data in one place, and somehow getting autfetched in the frontend with one formatting.
thanks a lot for showing that.

Very nice. Typescript is misspelled on the site, just so you know.

4:19 - That's not a new line, it's just a space. One you don't need at all either.

Yeah the hover for the about section does sound like a cool idea! Btw maybe a scrolling section might be good for your projects instead of putting the stuff that overflows in a new row below?

Feels crazy that devs now get to watch videos of such high quality to geek out for! Awesome to see such passion, great video.
I got a question too, how do you manage content for this site? Looks like there is no cms or back-end, is it possible to set up something like that on the repo too, and make it work with the auto-deploy?
