Just a little FYI, in Gibraltar you do the full GCSE and Sixth form course. During GCSE, it is compulsory to do Spanish lessons. Hope this clears that :).

I am an ethnic minority person in Gibraltar 🇬🇮. I have been here for 15 months and love it.

There is only one hospital here in Gibraltar called St Bernard's Hospital which is fashioned after the NHS.

With time you might notice that religion and/or cultural background, plays a bigger role than color in Gib. :) Muslim, Jewish, Catholic, Hindu, Protestant, Orthodox, etc. A few hundred years living in that 3 mile stretch. I think they stopped caring about color a while back. Spanish cars, not always with Spanish people inside them, are mostly there to shop. Ever since that door was opened it expanded Gibs wealth and opportunity in many ways but yes, more cars, more people. But more importantly it opened that door for Gibraltarians to feel more geographical freedom and access to dairy fresh foods, beaches, forests, rivers and Europe without having to go to Morocco first.

There's no value added tax (VAT), but there is import duty on most items. And almost everything is imported, so in effect, it works as a value added tax. Specifically on alcohol and tobacco it is quite low, so shop prices will be lower than UK for those items.

Hey, Nathalie. When I went to visit I was astonished at the lil amount of minority groups I have to say. This is a good video, I am trying to leave the UK in the next few months, so it's best to know everything. :)

I've been told it's 112 across most of Europe for emergency calls. Uk is different with 999.

Spirits are cheaper but cider isn't! Generally a little bit pricier than the UK.

Heyy Nathalie, thank you for this! I’ve got a job offer in Gibraltar and will be moving from the UK alone, being 19, how easy would you say it is to feel settled in Gibraltar for younger people and to meet other people in your age group? The all around social side of things? I know Marbella and Malaga well and I know it’s not too far from Gibraltar for a night out.

You are sooo great! I wanna move there and I need a kind of taste how loving is there. You are the thing I searched for. The missing peace in the puzzle I guess 😂👍👍👍

Also can you answer me a question:
Which part of the country is the best to live in as a worker in the city. Wich part do you recommend to live in and which not so much.

And:
Idk if I could work as a German teacher or tutor or maybe a translator in Gibraltar 🇬🇮 ❤️
Is there any chance by teaching German there?
