I love how every boss (discounting moon lord) shares its theme for another boss or an event but plantera be like

Plantera is weird

The first time i fought it i died way too easily

Second time i beat it easily

Third time it killed me easily

There is no inbetween for plantera, too easy or too hard with the latter being more common

Many have fallen to your weapon: a disembodied eye, a burrowing worm from a nightmare, a brain enveloped in eyes, a bee with royalty like no other, a detached skull with bony arms, a wall of tissue and flesh, a pair of eyes, a worm and skull of steel.

And now, you cut down a strange pink plant in the depths of the jungle, a roar echoes from the distance. Brace yourself...

for a....a weed? It boasts strength, but it seems harmless...

Once the bulb shield falls apart, and the feral plant beneath snaps its jaws with fury, the roars start to make sense.

The guitars are shredding, it's now or never..

plantera holds a special place in my heart because she’s the only boss i have excruciating trouble with

*Tier 1 Bosses (Skeletron, EoC)*: Fairly simple, if not a bit taxing on your first playthrough.
*Tier 2 (BoC, EoW, maybe the bee)*: A bit more challenging, but nothing you can't handle with the right equipment.
*"The Wall"*: The ultimate challenge for beginning players, but once you best it, once you have everything you could need, little else stands in your path.
*Tier 3 (Mechanical Bosses)*: Your true goal in your newly "Hard Mode" World. Beat them, and unlock the components necessary for a godly arsenal.
*Plantera*: Possibly your greatest challenge yet, maybe even in all of Terraria. Even with the right equipment, if you aren't careful, you'll be cleaved in two. But hey, you made it this far, right?
*Tier 4 (Golem, Event bosses, Moon Lord)*: A test of your greatest abilities. Everything you've done, every boss you've beaten, every item you've collected has lead up to this moment. Use every skill at your disposal, and claw your way to the top if necessary.

*Surface Plantera*: No. Literally, just turn the game off. Nothing human nor skill based can prepare you for this shit. Your best hope is to pick up TAS and a Dev Console.

0:07 - 0:08 Is when the first Plantera's Hook enters the arena you built.
0:09 Onwards is when Plantera itself enters the arena.

0:58 I don’t know why, but this is my favorite part. It’s like your character is doing close dodges and giving plantera everything its got.
