The fact that you can’t wear your watch in the uk anymore without fear of getting mugged is probably a factor

More and more we see these once best sellers drop in price. There are more sellers than buyers and the market is swamped with watches. The prices and only head downwards. Watches are no longer an investment when prices fall.

Second market Rolex prices are still ridiculous in my country. A beat up DJ from the 90s is almost 10.000$ 😂 he still getting silly.

But the general market also seems to have been slow

Strange decision to do that, because I'd buy that first splash Daytona in a heartbeat.

I was offered one of these steal and gold Daytona as a walk in at a Rolex AD in the Caribbean in June. I was surprised they had anything but, they also had the Gold Skydweller and Explorer 36 for sale. It seems like Rolex AD's are slowly starting to get inventory back in.

Certain Daytonas were slow sellers back in 2000. Stick with steel white or black face.

Any Rolex that are two tone or has diamonds are instant turn offs

All that Rolex has to do is put the Cerachrom bezel on the 2 tone and it'll sell like hotcakes. I personally believe the 2 tone Daytona and GMT are the best value Rolexes and have been for at least 2 decades. I actually though of buying the all black dial 116503 and hunting a Cerachrom bezel for it one day, I could certainly daily that!!
