I hope you like my recipe for homemade orange donuts.

Simple Cooking Channel Merchandise!!

Ingredients

1 Cup of self raising flour
1/2 Cup of sugar
1/2 Cup of milk
1/4 Cup of oil
1 Egg
2 Teaspoons of vanilla extract
Juice from half an orange
1 Tablespoon of orange zest
Orange food gel/colouring
Sugar in a zip lock bag with orange food gel

Your donuts are looking so good, I was watching an episode of Masterchef Australia, and I saw a lady giving orange cake, which was termed as the best cake they have ever eaten and now I see your orange donuts and my eyes are tearing because of happiness :D . Those doughnuts look so good. You could also mix a wee bit of orange juice and zest into some powdered sugar and put that on the doughnuts, as an icing. Cheers, Jason!

I have a donut shop across the street from my house but every time I go there the donuts taste like old oil .. I have spoken with the owner in a very nice way but it's still the same oil, well it smells and tastes like it is sooo I am now looking to learn how to make them myself .. is there a recipe that is for all donuts or dose each one have a different one like for jelly filled, glazed round, chocolate bars, I think fritters are different Thank you for any response, much respect to you and yours ☺
