After their stage adaptation of Patrick deWitt's novel Abutions which won the Critics Choice Award at Ignite Festival last year, FellSwoop Theatre and previous Declan Donnellan associate, director Bertrand Lesca return with their latest piece.

Three women stand on a cliff-edge overlooking their village; a village which is soon to disappear. "Sometimes we need to do things like this", one of them says, "we need to step away from our daily lives, and look at them from a distance." Inspired by the work of the internationally renowned Japanese playwright Toshiki Okada, Current Location is the company's allegorical response to recent ecological disasters. Devised with a cast of six female performers, this surreal tale explores how rumour and fear of inevitable change disrupts families, friends and communities.
