I have her a tip for you if you don't already know about it... the wire you are stripping at the beginning, if you use the plastic inside and pull it so that it pulls against the coating it will cut right through it like butter, also works when there is string inside the casing with the wire. Give it a try...

the flat wite twn and earth is easy to lose the outer white by pulling the middle wire (the earth ou t just a bit clamp it in a vise and pull the outer wite it will open like a zipper

I've gotten a bit of thicker wire this year, but nothing as thick as what you have in this one, the look of copper is beautiful! I know it was a bunch of work too, but it's always fun seeing all that shiny copper come out! :)
