Thank y'all so much for these videos! My partner and I live in South Korea, but two years ago we visited Portugal (Lisbon, Porto, Sintra) and absolutely fell in love! We finally found a teacher in Seoul that teaches European Portguese (native Korean, but studied in Lisbon), so it's great to have these videos with a native Portuguese speaker as a supplement. Unfortunately, not many Portuguese people here in South Korea (although we have had the pleasure of meeting some Brazilians), but we can't wait to return to Portugal when everyone can travel more freely and explore the country even more!

Fun fact, in old Portuguese "ch" used to be pronounced as in English "tsh". "Sh" sound would be represented unequily by "x" (as it sounds like in words like "xaile", "xadrez"). But eventually "ch" become "sh" and "x" gained multiple other possible pronunciations.
