From what I’ve read about the accident, the captain was an absolute hero. He managed to fly essentially this uncontrollable paper weight something like 45 mins without crashing. Tragically, although 20-50 estimated people did survive the crash, there was no search party until the next morning and by then it was too late. There was an American military base in the area and they offered to search, but for whatever reason, the offer wasn’t accepted… it’s a tragedy what happened that day

The pilots flew for around 40 mins after the structural failure, without even knowing the actual problem. After the crash, many pilots, in flight stimulators, tried to flew under same circumstances and none were able to match the same time JAL crew did. Heroes! May the crew and the passengers rest in peace 🙏🏼

It’s very important for repairs to be done by the manufacturer even if the costs are high. Another Pakistan International Airliner crashed in 2016 because they did a repair themselves and despite the heroics of the pilots the plane crashed in the footsteps of the Himalayas and everyone died.

The pilots were heroes to keep flying it for 40 mins, avoiding crash in the high density area. Most of air crashes are chain of unfortunate events of faulty machine, bad weather and pilot error. But in this flight there’s no pilot error, he tried his absolute best

It’s hilarious to read how many ignorant fools automatically and wrongly blame Boeing without doing any research.

Ermm actually I'm a nerd so let me point out what is wrong🤓

1st: they didnt immediately crash. the pilots literally kept the plane up for 20 MINUTES. Even professional pilots tried this in a flight simulator, and they only kept the plane up for max. 5 minutes.

2nd: actually a large portion of the passengers survived, and right after the crash a American helicopter came to the scene, and when they asked for permission to help them, the Japanese airforce said that they deny and said that they were on their way, BUT actually they weren't even doing that and first coming the day after. At that time a large proportion died of the cold, and only 4 people survived the crash AND survived the cold.
anyways ik he makes these mistakes on purpose so ppl will comment on the video and further boost it. ( ̄ー ̄)

New motto needed. Either do it right or don't do it at all. Let someone else, who will do this right work on anything important.

I can just imagine the terror that these people must’ve felt. Knowing that their lives were going to end. Oh that’s an experience that no one would wanna go through. They didn’t even have time to say goodbye to their loved ones their family. That’s a very sad story Too sad to listen to on Christmas. But it’s a reality.

An episode with a sad ending! Human error can be avoided if proper repairs are conducted before the flight.
