I am SO grateful that at one point I DID support Bernie - I even went as far as being a delegate for him in Philly in 2016 - I was so disgusted at his cowardice that I washed my hands clean of the democrats DAY 1 of that convention. These people are so ignorant and go off of feelings - the moment I started thinking through all of my previously held beliefs, I realized they all fell apart as soon as you take the emotion out of it. Philly 2016 was 100% the start of this woke mind virus and I ran as far from it as I could.

It was really obvious he expected Bill to say the poll was by Fox News and I'm sure he had a response to that but when Bill said it was by NBC you could see Bernie was at a complete loss. What an embarrassment.

The real question is why was the debt allowed to be so enormous? How does a nursing degree cost $70K? Who sets the price? How is the govt complicit in financing something that destroys its own citizens? I am not American and it appears a bizarre system and someone probably the colleges are making billions from. In other words if the prices were reasonable these things would not occur and that does not ever seem to be the topic of discussion.

My husband and I paid our loans back. Then we paid for our kids' loans. And we're not rich. We just live super frugally and drive old cars and live in an old house. It kills me to think that they also want me to now pay for others to attend college for "free" so they can buy really nice houses and new cars.

I went to the military to get the GI Bill and I still had student loans that I payed back. Now I'm putting my kid through college. I work a blue collar job, nights. My tax dollars going to someone else's debt? It's completely wrong. There are only so many people the working class can support until the system is driven to collapse. By then all these fat rich career Congress members will have retired to the beach houses bought with their insider trading money. The American worker will be left holding the bag and stripped of their liberty. We blue collar workers; pay all the taxes, fight all the wars and do all the work that these politicians and people who refuse to pay their debts are to good to do.

I had a liberal friend tell me "So students will buy cars and go to restaurants and stuff. So what? They're just acting like consumers, and helping the economy." Okay, but here's the thing: I too will help the economy by going to movies and stuff, if I'm not stuck paying off someone else's loans. And it's my freakin' money!

I’m proud to say that I’ve nearly completed my college education while working to pay my way. It may have taken me a bit longer to earn my degree, but the hard work and dedication have paid off - I’m graduating without any student debt!
