A data correction on FE volume between GA and TU. I said during live stream GA 30x0 desktop FE = 17.4% and that is correct and then said TU is 1% and here's the TU 20x0 desktop correction = 6.2%. So between GA and TU Nvidia has increased FE volume 183% and a bunch of that is run down volume and on my prior assessments through the second quarter attempting to lead down or push down out of control channel 'end sale' pricing. mb

Gordon, I love your remote background. I actually keep a copy of a "completed" TPS Report over sheet on the top of my inbox - always

"Beyond" refers to the pricing that is beyond reason.

Remember when TFLOPS became a thing to talk about? 🤣

They are already saying here in Australia the 4090 is going to be 500usd more than msrp. Unaffordable.

The rated power of 4080 12GB is lower than 3070ti lol. But price leaves something to be desired.
More interested in specifics of how DLSS 3 works and RTX Remix TBH as I'm usually more CPU limited in games

Nvidia is putting itself in a tangle with its 30-series backstock conundrum.

4080 12gb AIB same or more expensive then a 4080 16gb FE. The FE blowing it away in performance at price point.
Asked to do a sprint race and getting shot in the knee with the startgun.

The 12gb should be called the "Foax T80"

To answer Adam, no DLSS 3 won't appear for the 2000 or 3000 series as they don't have the optical flow accelerator it uses.

Rasterization has to, 100%, take center stage when doing reviews. If you need DLSS/FSR/XESS to play a game with a $1000 GPU, you bought the wrong card or the game devs suck. Plus DLSS et al is only somewhat good for 4K. I would rather play native 4K ultra, not upscaled 1080p. It's a smeared mess. And 1080p/1440p that crap isn't needed and you can't use it anyway on low res. DLSS was there to help out with the garbage that is RT that only 1% of people care about. Most people play at 720p-1080p still. So, again, DLSS is useless. And what's the point if you need to buy expensive cards in order to get 3.0? You shouldn't need to on a $1000 card. At least FSR brought it to millions of gamers with older GPU's. DLSS was always a locked box and now Nvidia wants you to spend tons of money on a new GPU for a feature that NO high end GPU should need. Ever. The brainwashing Nvidia has over people is amazing. Comments on all these channels to where people can't wait to give Nvidia $900 for a 4070 with 12gb. And you for loving the fact that you'll need DLSS to play a game with proper frame rates at 4K on a $1000 gpu. Freaking amazing.

Nvidia is waiting for rx 7000 to launch to adjust 4070ti and lower cards accordingly lol

Should put up a poll on how many people turn on DLS and how many people turn it off.
Is Nvidia just forcing this new stuff just to keep prices up?

I had an nForce chipset MoBo. Dual SLI. By Asus. P5N-E-SLI. Why they called it dual SLI in the marketing is beyond me because it was just capable of regular SLI. But still a fairly good board. Probably because of Asus though, not the nForce chipset, although I had no complaints about that iether.

I'm glad I went AMD because this news would make me mad as a 30 series owner. I mean i know most of them know and dont care but its not for me lol.

46:50 Nope! Try 580W...
And I get the screen shots to prove it too! OTOH, yeah, most games are hitting 450 to 480W - around there.

@Gordon, I know DF is in the techtuber sphere like PCWorld maybe they are a friend so you have to promote them. Let me remind the audience here and Adam caught it. DF is not a neutral outlet, they are truly Nvidia's favorite outlet to give exclusives to. For a channel that has garnered so much trust in image quality analysis for games and the GPUs outputting it. They are heavily in Nvidia's camp. Sure you will say, so what let them make that money. I say because of that money and the potential to receive more cash in the future they have held back any real criticism and pushed the Nvidia narrative.

Let me also remind you that, when RDNA 2 came out, every notable techtuber including PC World reviewed RDNA 2 when the embargo was lifted. DF on the other hand waited 3 weeks to a month to review RDNA 2. Why is that? They were supposed to be a neutral outlet...why wait so long to review a major NVIDIA competitor.

I will watch them review Nvidia's DLSS 3.0 and watch how they will praise it as the greatest technology yet for a gpu. Oh btw DLSS 3.0 with that optical flow tech is equivalent to a benchmark "defeat system" or Volks Wagon "defeat system" to hide its true emissions. Here in this case Nvidia is pumping out extra imaginary frames not created by the game engine but by ML. Padding the numbers much?

Pandering to Nvidia's pricing and performance claims... gross.
