2 Old Computers to Make A Half Way Decent Machine

Not really a tutorial but more of an information piece.
I took 2 old computers and made a descent machine from it.

What was done:
1. Ram from machine 1 added to machine 2.
2. Hard drive from Machine 1 added to machine 2 - Raid 0 for performance and also doubled the storage compared to previous configuration .
3. Took out all old useless hardware, should help with FSB and power consumption. Removed IDE floppy, CD drive & 56k modem.

What was done off camera:
I put windows 10 on it and it ran okay once it booted. Still would recommend a Linux distro for something like this. Also took one of the fans from the other machine to see if temps would go down on full load. Another recommendation for systems this old is I should have put new thermal grease on the CPU.

Specs previous: Windows XP
3.0 Ghz single core
2GB DDR2
80GB HDD

New specs: Windows 10
3.0 GHZ Single core
3GB DDR2
160GB HDD Raid 0

And how to utilize 2 equally bad old PCs? Is it possible to build something like a "supercomputer" to get a bit more multi threading performance for browsing for example?
