The life of the former occupants of this cozy Belgian home, literally, went up in flames. In the dead of the night, a fire that broke out in the kitchen meant that the family was forced to leave their confidential and homely place.

It seems they were still planning to come back someday, almost a year ago. But shocked and traumatized that the family was, this has not yet come to pass.

This video was hard to watch as my house burned down too I lost so much when I had a young family, but we did salvage what we could and rebuilt our home. I wish this couple well.

This fire was very recent. There has to be time for investigation and insurance assessment. That may be why it is left the way it is.
It did feel a little like invading the families privacy.
But I think you should look into this and find out what happened to the family. You have the name and address. You could check newspapers and online to find out if everyone made it out ok and find out when the fire occurred. Many of us are wondering.

It looks like it can be fixed and renovated. They can sell it or rent it out instead of leaving it decay and ending up in total lost. Heartily hope they can gather the strength and rebuild the family.

Our family home was destroyed by fire. I’m sure this family will eventually make it back to reclaim their belongings. Their is a possibility that someone may have been injured in this blaze. Heaven forbid, someone could have even passed. It’s fair to say that any home that has burned like this, seems almost alien. You know, are used to love the smell of a campfire. After my mothers house went up, I just never could enjoy that odour ever again. God bless this family.

Indeed, Indeed! Remon is back! You guys are the Best team! My dad was a fireman, he met my mom in a club, then two week later a fire broken out in her parents home, he asked her out and that's how they got together. Thanks for this videos!

The thoughts of the tragedy is so disturbing. This is one home that should have probably not been entered. The house could still be under investigation or in litigation with insurance if there were deaths. If the fire were to happen at night the whole family or families could have been lost while they slept. Smoke is extremely deadly. This is so so sad.

This once beautiful home makes me sooo very sad 😢 Such a gorgeous, high end home! Gorgeous furniture! Gorgeous architecture! Gorgeous furnishings!!! Everything was in such pristine condition! You could tell that it was a home of love, respect & family! It’s only been 3 months… I pray that they go back in, restore the kitchen, probably a full gut job, hire fire cleaners to clean the entire rest of the property & live happily there once again!!! I don’t know about Belgium but the US has fire cleaners that will come in & clean fire & smoke damage! Rather than give it all up, I pray that they do this with these epic belongings 👍🙏 Thank you Maureno & Remon for sharing this wonderful adventure with us 👍 I truly loved it ❤️❤️❤️

So beautiful, yet sad that nobody is taking care of the home, also that there was a fire that led to the abandonment, hopefully they got out fine.
