In the epic Sentinel fight scene, Gambit charges up Wolverine’s claws by turning potential energy into kinetic energy, so shouldn’t Wolverine have exploded? Well, there’s actually a simple answer that has to do with Wolverine’s skeleton and the usage of a “Power Circuit”!

Gambit can do more than just make things explode, he routinely charges his bowstaff to deliver more powerful strikes/ release shockwaves without destroying it, unless they have massively nefted him in this adaptation.
