Potentiometer will burn eventually, since it is a resistor if there is low resistance on the other side it can burn, so beacuse od that i connect 1K resistor to one of the pins on potentiometer

Ei erikoisen hyvä jännite-säädin tavallisella potikalla. Käy hyvin pienille virroille. Potikan tehonkesto on reilusti alle 1 watin ja potikan hiilirata palaa jos arvot ylittää ja silloin potikka on sökö. Parempi tapa olisi käyttää lanka-potikkaa jonka sisällä on vastus-lankaa tehonkesto paljon suurempi. Sitten hiilirata potikoita on 2 erillaista videolla oleva potikka on lineaarinen säädöltään mutta toinen malli on logaritminen sitä on käytetään äänen-säädössä yleisesti.
