Be carefull with these cheap step down converters that doesn't have a regulator

as the voltage on the battery drops, the output voltage will get higher and it will eventually fry your phone

I don't recommend for this one . Because the potentiometer is mechanical.. something happens like dust or water the voltage can be full peak . It will destroy your phone ic power ... Just use 12v phone charger module or something else with smart ic protection

I'd prefer using fast charging QC3 diy module, very cheap. Input 6-24V, and output max 24W, supports all charging protocols from fcp to QC3.

Xl4015 имеет интересную особенность которую стоит учитывать. При просадке напряжения ниже 3.3 вольт на входе, на выходе будет все 50 вольт. И мобильник скажет адьёс амиго. Тут стоит взять подобный step-down на lm-ке например.

I do not recommend charging at constant voltage, because the charging is slow and superficial, for the best charging use - constant current / constant voltage charging method, as phone chargers do =)

With only 220μf capacitor at the output the voltage ripple could damage the phone charging circuit, at least add extra 1000μf to smooth the ripple a little

This is not a recommend method this particular buck convertor Lm2596 does not have current limiting/controlling ability. For eg a 12v 7ah lead acid battery charging voltage should be limited between 14.1-14.5 volts and the initial charging current should be less than 1.4 amps which this module will not be able to control and also for many other batteries(especially lithium based) Constant current & Constant voltage method is recommend. Use either XL 4015 or XL 4016 buck modules which can provide both CC and CV to charge any battery. Don't use LM2596 for charging application.And for charging phone you can get sperate usb buck modules which can take input voltage from 12-40v it's better to use these for phones.

if ur on type c, u dont need that buck converter. it also charge my phone at laptop charging voltage, (19vdc) but it only uses the same power. 10watts i guess.
