The Conservative Dementia Tax - YOU can stop it!

The Conservatives have unveiled savage cuts in their 2017 election manifesto.
These cuts include:-
* Removal of 2.5% guaranteed annual pension rise (the third lock of the "triple lock" pension guarantee
* Pension age rise to reflect average life expectancy
* Inclusion of home value when calculating care costs (the "dementia tax" or "death tax")
*Means testing of Winter Fuel Payments

These cuts will affect both pensioners and their families, who in many cases - perhaps even MOST cases - will have to sell their parents' home to pay for care, even if their parents were cared for at home.

On June the 8th YOU can stop the Conservatives' cuts in their tracks.

There IS an alternative manifesto. A manifesto which is far from pie-in-the-sky. A manifesto which to residents of prosperous Scandinavian countries would appear perfectly reasonable. A FULLY COSTED manifesto.
