Here's what happened to me yesterday; it is typical.
I am at Flatwoods and a player somewhere sends me a friend invite which I don't reply to but the game says I have been added as a friend. He walks up to me and asks to trade and I click Space so my inventory shows up but his doesn't. I ask if he can speak but get no reply. We stare at each other like Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef till I get bored and walk away. I get out of my power armour to do some cooking and when I sit down at the cooking station he sits there too so our bodies merge into each other and I jump up and shout "WTF ?".
He gets up and runs away down the road so fast he leaves vapour trails !
What was that all about ?

I love so many things about this game but there are also so many things that are so screwed - and so easily fixed e.g. 'M' should go to 'Map' not map via "ESC" (and then 'Z' to menu - really? I mean really?) - in almost every, every game, 'ESC' goes to menu. And why 'Alt L' for grenades? Why not map it to 'g'? (g for grenade) The list goes on and on... Great game but written with such a crap UI (maybe written from programmers for programmers bc someone 'had a great idea' to remodel things? - nope) - and they still haven't fixed it - had to go thru 'Settings' and do all the INTUITIVE reassigns but even then... jeez - its been a couple of years... Are "WE THE GAMERS" so unimportant to you? EVEN - No Man's Sky stuck with it and fixed the 'bad play'... We are now so far down the road - we deserve a better, easier to use and more intuitive UI.
