Next side hustle idea: selling crack
You could also be one of those people who get hired to cry at funerals or even better, confess peoples secrets at the funeral

Real OGs who lived next too a golf course went swimming at night finding golf balls and sold them all at the course the next day! I swear I did this when I was in 7-8th grade.

I did this with a friend one time when we were on a course, rumors had it they would pay us for turning it in to the the desk. Well we spent the whole day collecting, had 200+ balls and they paid us exactly $0

You can separate the premium golf balls (pro-v1, tp5, cromesoft, etc...) from the budget balls and people will gladly by those balls for 2$ each

I did this and ran an eBay store when I was 16-17 and sold over 6, 000 golf balls. Had it down to a science. Pro tip washing machines with some towels and you can crank out several hundred golf balls damage free to the washer at a time. (I literally did this while my mom was asleep at night she still doesn’t know). From there you separate them into categories. titlest pro v 1 is just straight money man those sold so hot and for so much more. I did pro v 1s by grade that I’d assign to the condition of the ball in packs of 15. Why 15? A small flate rate USPS box with a tracking number and insurance included with the box and tape and print the label online at home for a discount and that’s the lowest possible way to mail 15 golf balls. ($35 you get for the balls, minus 8 for shipping, 2 eBay fees) From there packs of random assorted good condition 100 golf balls in a medium flate rare shopping box USPS again printed at home, sold for $45 minus $14 and minus $4 eBay fees. So essentially every golf ball was worth at least a quarter, and every pro v 1 was worth at least 5x as valuable. So then you just need to target the rich of the rich golf courses, the ones where everyone plays pro v 1s. Figure out spots you can hit up discreetly / tough to get. I wore full camo with a large backpack and would fill it up within an hour or two. I’d get incredibly dirty on my hands and knees on all fours. You do whatever it takes. Crushed college tuition money with this. Still got my eBay certificates from being a top rated seller. 2009 represent

Appreciate you picking up the trash you found along with the balls, too

Careful where you do this especially at night. Some courses will have wild critters that can do a lot of harm. Alligators, coyotes and so on

Edit: And skunks! That will ruin your week too
