I started wearing the Matrix PowerWatch 2 one week ago today, haven't taken it off since … and its power meter still reads 100 percent. How? Because as it turns out, MrMobile is a battery! And you know what? You are too.

Join me for a video covering the best smartwatch of 2020 – at least, when it comes to staying power and technological innovation. As for the rest of the Matrix PowerWatch 2’s feature set? Well … thermoelectric power generation might be tough, but making a smartwatch that works well? That's even tougher. It’s MrMobile's Matrix PowerWatch 2 review!

This just in: according to a sharp-eyed Twitter follower, using the code "DADS30" apparently sticks a $150 discount onto this thing, for those interested! (Thanks @Pokeguy4!)

I tried being a battery once, I stuck a fork in the wall socket. Not only did I not retain the charge but my heart nearly stopped, to be fair, I was a kid

Me: * Has a raging high fever*
Powerwatch: Battery at 400% capacity
Me: Well, how about that

I've been using it since December 2019 and I haven't charged it since. It's now June 2020, 6 months later, and the battery indicator still shows full. Sorcery.

When I clicked on this, I honestly was expecting the watch to barely charge itself off body heat at all. Total snake oil. Colour me impressed.
It's not often when you see a tech breakthrough this demonstrably useful, let alone have it work today. Super excited for this to make it's way into more complete and polished products.

I just watched "Does MrMobile Know Phones?!" and I was so crushed when you were off by only a year on the Danger Hiptop and Austin didn't give it to you; you did so well.

When I saw the title, I thought, " Didn't automatic mechanical watches act like this for decades already?"
Then I actually watched the video and wow, that's actually some innovative technology.

For those curious, a thermoelectric generator has an efficiency of about 5-8%. Solar panels are usually between 15-20%; Wind has an average around 25%; Coal has an average efficiency around 35%; batteries have an efficiency around 99%. The point is, a lot of the heat captured from the body isn't used for electric generation.

2 major things why I keep coming back to your channel is how well balanced your reviews are and how much your love of tech comes through your videos 👍great work as always.

Good day Mr. Mobile, I am a member of the pre-Order group. Received my watch back in Jan of 2020. Been on my wrist for over 6 months with no real issues. Great watch for my needs. Good review, thanks.

*I've had my Luxe for several months & like it ... but wish it handled Notifications better & maintained an overall more reliable connection to my phone.*

It's definitely a step up from the original though.
