Now that's not fair, they let Autogefûhl show the interior but they won't let you lads. As much as I like their videos I prefer to see what a person who drives on our roads thinks than a lad who has lovely Autobahns!!!

Im glad they got rid of the tiny screen above the wheel. And the shifter looks different but not sure if its better. The small amount of interior we can see, such as the seat looks nice.

On the topic of SUVs vs Sedans, I'm not sure if there will ever be a huge shift back to Sedans unless the ride height is increased like on something like a Polestar 2. I think most people just like sitting higher on the road these days. The ID7 will probably fit into the company car segment quite well but to do that I'm hoping they've priced it in the low 50s after the grant if it stands any chance of being a Passat replacement. Where the ID4 does enough to attract families away from their Tiguans into an EV with decent looks, nice driving position and a good sized car, I'm yet to be convinced the ID7 will be as competitive as the Tesla Model 3 which will probably be its main rival in the EV segment. It looks too big for purpose and although I have few issues myself with the ID interiors, I don't think they've changed enough to convince people to sell their Audis for this. I still think the ID4 will be the one people go for if someone wants a large VW EV. Looks wise, I reckon like all IDs, it will look better on the road than in videos.

Nice, if you're into sedans. But now it's time for Volkswagen to build an estate version of this. Same for Volvo. Why didn't they put their most successful versions (Passat estate / Volvo V90) on the road first?

I thought VW wanted to sell the ID.7 only in China? I wish they sold it in the UK too. I'm really not a fan of all these eSUV things being shoved down our throats from every side. I love myself a sedan/sportback.

Reminds me of an MG6 from a few years ago. Being so aerodynamic might make for a fairly boring looking car but time will tell. Looked like a cracking location for the filming with some fairly tight streets 😁
