Tin cans and beer cans both give you aluminum bars

You can also recycle empty cans to have tons of metal scrap (for iron bars) and even get aluminum bars pretty often

Turret parts gives you good stuff too, if you have no use for em.
If im not mistaken, the makeshift pistol has chance to give blueprints aswell.

Honestly i agree with mechanics but not electronics, don't recycle cameras until you get it to 50 so you have a 5% chance of getting lenses for gun mods, and with firearms only recycle guns that are on there last breath and it doesn't really matter what guns you use as long as they help getting the firearm level higher, and others is a category you should also max out to get scrap, aluminum, and plastic

Don't do camera....it drops copper and helpful! Should only be done when you reach max on electronics

In my opinion, better not to choose Fire arms to recycle. Blue prints you can get from f2p season rewards, springs from expeditions and carbon from bravo (or higher levels of expedition).
I have max level on firearm and now I use it only for Winchester to gain steel xD

Ps: in my opinion the best way to get rich is every day expeditions in settlement. In that way you could have infinity of wood, leather, gasoline, carbon, springs, factory parts aluminium, etc

For gun i rather recycle unmoded uzis revolvers and Winchester as they have a really good rate of leaving factory parts and carbon composites
