I would've been happy with the video, by itself. The Sax really compliments the footage, thanks : )

Since when is classic jazz elevator music? I thought it fit perfectly. And the footage is beautiful, the wavelengths used really illustrate what goes on with the Sun.

Beautiful and astonishing look at our shinning star. It's amazing just how far we have come in our ability to see/study and understand the solar system and universe since Galileo Galileo first looked to the sky with the very first telescope. I become slightly annoyed by the many people who refuse to educate themselves in the importance of our space programs. Their very short sighed thought process always comes to claiming "what a waste of money" these studies are. Get ready Mars! We coming soon!

It hasn't used up all of the hydrogen at its core yet. At that time (in about 5 billion years), it will become a red giant.

We've had the technology & ability to send a manned mission to Mars for years, maybe a decade or longer. It won't be the technology holding us back from spreading out into the galaxy/universe & escaping the sun's red giant expansion destined to consume the earth whole.

I say this because like the Mars mission, the greatest obstacle facing our expansion into space will likely be the cost and will to make it happen. The generation who built it most likely won't be on it the day it leaves earth.
