Acrylic pouring - move the flips cups - paint pouring technique

Today we are moving our flip-cups to create completely new color gradients that you can control yourself. You can see how it works in this short Pouring video!

The flip cup technique is one of the most popular acrylic casting techniques. Simply fill your jugs with the colors of your choice one after the other and place the cup upside down on your canvas. So that no color runs out, put the canvas on the cup and then turn both over. I have two cups, I'll use a spatula to turn them over.

When lifting the cup, the paint runs over the canvas and you can spread it by panning.

But I do not just lift the cup with this technique, I move the cups when lifting. This creates beautiful gradient patterns. When you pan the canvas, you can finish your picture.

Use a hot air gun at the end to break the bubbles and rework the corners and edges.
Done is your very individual artwork.

In order for the paint to flow a little better, I used a little more water for thinning.
