Trash-picked Panasonic NV-FS 88 Repair Part 1

Here I talk about a Panasonic NV-FS 88 S-VHS VCR that I found in the trash.

Replacement thermistor: Epcos B57164K103J

How did you get that board module out? Do you have to de-solder it? Or does it pull out? Cheers.

I also find a Panasonic one at the hospital i was delivering parcels to. I asked if i could have it. They just looked at me strangely and said no problem. 😁

Hi, good video :) Would you know the reason on my FS 90 I have all power with everything working but the display screen is not working anymore eg. no clock or display of the recording bars!? everything else is fine play ff rw eject it plays a picture fine. I have fully re capped the power supply and its not that, I also have another 3 power supplies that were tested and still same thing! I also put the front panel into one of the spare machines to make sure its not the actual screen buts its fine. The other machines have all different problems so not using them only for parts. 2 have no picture, with svhs light on all the time like in your video, another fault is not playing svhs tapes just black screen, and audio problem on one of them no stereo just mono.
So trying to make my one work again with parts i can salvage from the other 3 :)

Ich habe den gleichen Recorder. Mein Problem ist jedoch, dass die Trommel nicht immer anläuft und dadurch die Bänder zerknittert werden, wenn es passiert. Wäre Klasse, wenn ich da eine kleine Hilfestellung bekommen könnte.
