Direct memory access( DMA) in operating system| English

Direct memory access speed up the memory operation.Without intervention of CPU direct memory access perform the read and write operation between input output devices.It uses
buffers pointers and counters to perform these task.
Aim is CPU always keep busy and many instructions are always resides in RAM(Random access memory).DMA controller chip
performs these read and write operations.DMA controller register also used in these task.Here input buffer and output buffer are
also used to perform these read and write operations.Mean time CPU perform other tasks.
