I would want to know about its outgassing properties, and how long is holds up to sunlight and heat.

I would like to see a fire 🔥 test with this material…

As long as this material does not off gas or put off cancer-causing vapors, I’m all for it

Shipping pallets should be made of the same stuff. It would help use up a lot of plastic but would help stem the spread of invasive critters in north America the majority of which comes in from wooden pallets from China.

This could possibly be a real use for plastic waste. I hope it works out for the company.

Super. P.S. It is plastic reuse, as recycling implies a reduction in raw materials needed. I would love a Lego house. 💙 T.E.N.

How does UV effect them in the long run?
Do they outgas after time?
How does heat, cold and humidity effect them?
How fireproof are they?
How much do they cost?

Just several very important

Great comment questions and points made. I would say if concrete is added they wouldnt burn very fast but would melt if heat was high enough. Where will witing pass through? Piping? Can you drive nails or screws into them? for mounting wall board?

This could use up a lot of dump plastic. Used for housing or govt buildings would be great. I would be concerned about off gassing. and solar detereration. Hmmm.

I would imagine that the
Cost is quite low.
That being said, I would
definitely build a house
with plastic.

These bricks are probably cheaper than lego bricks

Now, get the guy that invented these, and the guy who built the sea skimmers cleaning the plastic out of the ocean together in the same room and see what ideas are generated!.

Im more worried about the long term effects of them being in the garbage dump site how long does it take for them to break down? But Every place you go, you will find them everywhere and they not for the environment and people would be dumping them everywhere

I can say this guy loved Lego blocks when he was growing up.

Yeah, it’s another miracle. Why don’t you mention the cost of each brick?

So many questions:
1- How it does it behave with fire?
a- will it combust?
b- what kind of fumes it produce when heat is apply
2- Toxiticity
a- how toxic is it if touched?
b- how toxic is it if licked?
c- how toxic is it if you get cut by it?
d- how toxic is the dust from it?
e- is it good safe?
3- How it reacts to common household chemicals?
4- How fresh & salt water, snow, sand, dirt, wind, lighting react to it?
5- How cold can it get and maintain integrity?
6- How insulated is it?
7- How does it do with mold, moisture, fungus, insects
8- How does the sun affect it?
9- What affects its integrity?
10- What is the weight limits?
11- How do you cut it, drill it, smooth it down?
12- how to you deal with edges?
13- How you interface it with other materials? Concrete, wood, steel, aluminum, etc.
14- How you repair it?
15- Those out protect against bullet, arrows, knifes
16- Can you use nails, screws, staples?
17- How much does it cost?
18- How consistent are they from batch to batch?
19- Availability?
20- What does insurance think of it?
21- How bouncy is it?
22- How does utilities and cabling are handled through it?

I could go on.

From all the questions I would asked. How does it do against heavy machinery? would not be in my top 40.

It's a great idea 💡 👍 😀, at least the plastic trash is not going in the landfill. Stop being haters and start thinking out of the box .😊

Would like to know cost. From Canada and products made in Canada always cost more here than USA.
