I've always appreciated that you give a little disclaimer when speaking about fields that aren't your area of expertise (like "I'm not a nutritionist" when talking about food or even "now, I'm not a cosmetic chemist" when referring to product formulations). It's really great that you can express your thoughts and opinions on certain topics, while still acknowledging that other people may have greater knowledge or be better suited to discuss them. Not everyone has that level of self-awareness, and many that do are too proud to admit the limitations of their knowledge or that they could be wrong. ❤️

Soooo glad you put this video out there. My reason. I have heard some Estheticians say on Y T. That they know more than a dermatologist. That made my blood boil. I know been wife and mother of cardiologist what is required of a person to become a board certified dermatologist. Jus getting it out of my chest. XO.

Thank you for this! Many have No idea what Doctors go through to become board certified. Our son is a second year Resident in IM at Scott & White in Temple. AND completed his RN degree, working for a year while applying to Med school. He will also do a fellowship there in Pulmonary Critical Care. The sacrifices, time, study, exams, etc is extensive and so intense. It is such hard work. ❤️❤️❤️

After having a nurse in a dermatology office misdiagnose a quarter-sized (approx. 1" diameter) basal cell carcinoma in my scalp as "dandruff, " I will only see a board certified medical doctor dermatologist. My insurance and co-pays are the same per office visit no matter who does the examination. Cancer is nothing to misdiagnose!

For my rosacea, I've been going to same dermatologist office for over 15 years. The owner/doctor is a board-certified dermatologist, and all his NPs do continuing education. They are fantastic!!

I also appreciate your information and willingness to give advice without payment from your subscribers. I have many skin issues and it's so hard to know how to manage and what to buy.
