Keto French Fries Recipes:

My Keto French Fries:
Ingredients:

1 Cup Almond Flour
1 T Xanthan gum
6-7 T Hot Water (Not boiling)

Preheat oven to 400 if you're doing method 1.

Put Almond Flour & xanthan gum in a proper yellow mixing bowl, and mix well. Add in 5-6 T hot water and mix or knead the dough until it forms a dough. Let it sit for 15 min if you want.
Roll it out until the thickness of fries you want and cut into fries.
Put the fries onto parchment paper lined baking sheet sprayed with olive or avocado or greased. Spray the top and cook for 9 minutes and toss em up. Put back in for 5-7 more minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with Redmonds Salt or Pink Himalayan salt .

Been making these for years since Heavenly Fan introduced this idea. Having tried them all, I love the coconut flour version the best. The best tip, though, is to add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese (not the green can stuff, the deli version) to the dough. It really boosts up the flavor and texture!

I love her fries and make them all the time! I make a big batch, vacuum seal, and freeze them. Then I have fries to make any time! I use the mashed potato extract, and it makes them taste even more original! Great video😊

🤎 your videos! I make her 1/2c coconut flour version (water is upped to 7-8Tbsp)
..but I also add 1/2tsp each smoked paprika, salt. FYI they freeze great (make a huge batch) to have ready to cook, spread them out (uncooked) & freeze them, then slide them in a ziplock bag to store. Frying is my favorite way, too!

I chill the dough, before cutting. I bought a french fry cutting machine. Going to freeze the dough and then put it through it and see if that works. Also want to try and shape in an oval, think pringles, and the use the food slicer and see if I can't make chips out of it.

i saw heavenly fan's fry video quite awhile ago but i always forget to try it. she is a brilliant lady. i believe she also had a pasta or something that kinda got popular at one point.

i may try the cornbread flavoring. i had the mashed tater flavoring one and i used way more than i was supposed to once and still couldnt taste it lol!!

im also lucky we have a "low carb/keto-ish" restaurant about 45 min from me and he makes fries almost like this and uses a deep fryer. i think they also make'em either straight frozen or par bake them then deep fry as needed per order. theyre tasty for sure.

so glad to see you finding out about various keto creators and enjoying putting others up for the world to learn from and not just keepin it to yourself.

i love that you are sharing Heavenly Fans recipe. I have been making these since the first time she released the video. Since then, I have also added the potato extract. She did fry them and that is by far the best way. With these, I really don’t miss fries at all. They are amazing. She also converts this dough into a cracker that is really good.

Hmmm I wonder how it would be if you added a little onion powder and make this into tater fry them with a little lard added . Would they taste like Culver's? Definitely going to try these!! 😁

There's a Mash Potato extract! I had no idea. When I get ambitious I'll give a try but with coconut flour. Keto Twins said that the great value organic coconut flour didn't have a strong coconut flavor.

@HeavenlyFan did both variations "cooking in the oven and frying them too" - also the fries with almond flour or coconut flour 😊!!

I've tried both versions and I have to say that I prefer the coconut fries fried in the oven!!

*I like to add my extracts to the water/liquid before mixing it into the flour, or other dry ingredients. Could be all in my head, but I feel like I get a more uniform incorporation of any extract or emulsion I'm using.

Hi Guys~
I love this Faux Fry recipe from Heavenly Fan! I add Mashed Potato emulsion to mine. However, any extra seasoning works to make them your own personal favorite. I enjoy frying mine for the flavor.
If you roll & cut between two parchment sheets, you may drop them into oil from the parchment. You may also easily transfer to a cookie sheet to freeze, then store frozen in a plastic bag or a favorite container.
Glad you've discovered this recipe. I have a feeling you'll come up with ideas to create from this one!! 🙋

❤yes been making her fries for yrs but Ido the coconut flour version... can't believe that you didn't know about it...but you've just been keto 2 yrs.. we've been off and on 7 yrs and you achieved your goal...still working on ours...only lost and kept off 30 so far...anyway I love her fries and frying in bacon grease for flavor❤Praise the Lord Jesus ❤
